Job summary

Sarasota Bay Club, a waterfront senior living community in Sarasota, FL, seeks a Part-Time Dishwasher/Utility Worker to join our team. Schedule is Mondays, Thursdays, Saturdays from 4pm to 9pm, with no prior experience required as training is provided.

Responsibilities include washing and storing all soiled equipment, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and assisting with basic prep as directed by the Executive Chef and Sous Chef.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow instructions and read/write English.
• No prior experience required; training will be provided.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Wash and store all soiled equipment, china, glass, and silver.
• Keep kitchen and dish area clean and organized; empty trash at end of shift.
• Assist with vegetable prep and basic prep as directed by chefs.

Responsibilities include the collection, washing and storage of all soiled equipment, china, glass, and silver throughout the food and beverage operation. Maintain the overall cleanliness of the kitchen, including floors, walls, trash areas and walk in coolers. Keep dish area clean and organized. Empty trash at the end of the shift. Prep work including vegetable preparation for daily service and other basic prep as assigned by the Executive Chef and Sous Chef. Other tasks as assigned.

Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Skills: Ability to follow instructions. Must be able to read, write and speak English. Ability to work flexible hours. Weekends & holidays are required
