Job summary

Fresno Senior Living is seeking a part-time dishwasher to maintain a clean, efficient kitchen for our residents. You will wash dishes, utensils, and equipment, and work closely with the kitchen team to support daily meal service.

Shifts include Wednesday to Friday 12:00pm-7:00pm and Saturday-Sunday 11:00am-7:00pm. Experience is welcome, high school diploma a plus, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. 18+ required.

Qualifications

****We are looking for a Part-Time Dishwasher to join our team!

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment. You will work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure a smooth operation and contribute to a positive dining experience for our residents.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas.
• Load and unload dishwashing machines.
• Wash specific items by hand.
• Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment appropriately.
• Set up workstations before meal prep begins.
• Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils, especially during peak hours.
• Maintain cleaning supplies stock (e.g. detergents) and place orders when necessary.
• Remove garbage regularly.
• Sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor.
• Must be 18 Years or older

Skills

• Ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks, as needed.
• Time management skills.
• Attention to detail and sanitation rules.

• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, and reach frequently throughout the shift.

• Able to work safely in varying temperatures, including exposure to heat from cooking areas and cold temperatures in below-zero freezers.
