Job summary

Clarendale of Mokena, managed by LCS, seeks a part-time or full-time Server to create a welcoming dining atmosphere for our senior residents. No late nights and a supportive team environment are emphasized. Shifts include part-time and full-time with every other weekend required.

Qualifications

• Minimum completion of sophomore year in high school is required.
• Experience in food service work is preferred.
• Experience in working with seniors is preferred.

• Always exemplify Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization.
• Adhere to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards.
• Exhibit dining room appearance and presentation standards.
• Set tables and maintain workstations in proper order; take orders and provide service graciously.
• Serve customers using proper serving etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Dining Room Server:

• Always exemplify Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization.
• Responsible for adhering to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards always.
• Exhibit dining room appearance and presentation standards always.
• Set tables and maintain workstations in proper order. Take orders, provide service and requested items both graciously and courteously. Answer pertinent questions about menu items.
• Serve customers using proper serving etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere.
