Job Description – Dishwasher (Part Time)

Rate: Up to $16.00 and up per hour

Position: Dishwasher

The dishwasher at La Senorita is responsible for providing sanitary dishes and utensils to guests and staff.

Responsibilities include:

1. Communicating effectively with service personnel
2. Loss and waste prevention
3. Being a team player
4. Working quickly and quietly
5. Operating the dish machine
6. Handling chemicals safely
7. Sanitary handling and storage of clean dishes and utensils
8. Emptying trash receptacles
9. Maintaining the dish room
10. Sweeping and mopping floors
11. Assisting as needed to ensure prompt service
12. Performing extra cleaning and side work
13. Performing any other duties as assigned by the manager

Job Specifications:

• Ability to learn La Senorita’s kitchen procedures and dishwashing/sanitizing protocols
• Organizational skills and the ability to perform tasks quickly and accurately
• Ability to stand for extended periods, walk carefully on wet floors, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Prior foodservice experience is helpful but not required
