We are seeking a hardworking Dishwasher to join our team at Bethel Resort and Suites. This is a Part Time position located in Bethel, ME.

Work Performed

As part of the back of house team, the Dishwasher will provide our guests with spotless cutlery, plates and glassware. The Dishwasher will also keep pots, pans and kitchen tools clean and ready for the line cooks to create delicious dishes for our guests.

• Scrape, rinse, and load dishes and utensils into dish machine
• Wash and sanitize all pans, utensils, and dishes
• Empty trash containers regularly
• Ensure all areas of the kitchen, food prep, and food storage areas are clean and properly sanitized. This includes washing dishes and cooking equipment, cleaning floors, sanitizing countertops and cutting boards, and maintaining all areas to health code standard
• Keep workstations and equipment clean, organized, and in good working order
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned
• Looking for a reliable, hardworking dishwasher to support our culinary team and keep kitchen operations running smoothly.
• Responsibilities include washing and sanitizing dishes, glassware, cookware, and kitchen equipment; maintaining a clean and organized dish area; removing trash; and assisting with general kitchen cleaning as needed.
• Must be dependable, able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and work well as part of a team.

Requirements

• Hours required: Part Time 32 hours per week for shifts Morning (AM); Afternoon (PM); Evening; Must be flexible; Weekends/ Holidays
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is preferred.
• Knowledge of kitchen and restaurant safety and emergency procedures
• Ability to work well with others (i.e. interacts appropriately with guests and staff)
• Ability to follow instructions, complete tasks safely and efficiently, and communicate effectively
• Ability to follow safety policies and procedures and immediately report injuries to their manager or manager on duty
