• We are hiring immediately for on-call DISHWASHER positions.
• Location: Portland Medical Providence Health - 4805 North East Glisan Street, Portland, OR 97213. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: On-call schedule. Days and hours may vary. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: 1 year of previous dishwashing experience is preferred.
• Pay Range: $19.00 per hour to $23.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment, and utensils in orderly and sanitary condition.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or in dishwashing machines, ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Washes pots, pans, and trays based on assigned procedures, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
• Polishes silver using appropriate equipment and methods, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensures compliance with safety procedures.
• Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as per standards.
• Keeps dish area orderly and compliant with safety standards.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors for safety and sanitation.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash, sanitizes containers, and maintains cleanliness.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Helps load and unload supplies and products.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
