Responsibilities

• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or uses the dishwashing machine.
• Washes pots, pans and trays as assigned.
• Polishes silver using burnishing machine tumbler and buffing wheel.
• Ensures compliance with outlined safety procedures.
• Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as per standards.
• Keeps dish area orderly in compliance with safety standards.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors.
• Washes worktables and other prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and cleans garbage cans.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Helps load and unload supplies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
