Job Title: Steward
Summary: General kitchen helper/dishwasher and housekeeping duties, providing general backup for cooks and keeping the cleanup process moving to ensure clean and safe utensils, dishes, silverware, and glassware are consistently available.
6 months to 1 year of experience in a similar role. A minimum of a High School Diploma or a GED.
The ability to move about on foot regularly; stand for long periods of time; ability to reach, bend, crouch, or kneel regularly; ability to transport up to 100 lbs. occasionally. Carts should be utilized whenever possible for safety purposes.
Self-motivated, ability to see what needs to be done and do it; doesn’t wait for direction on obvious opportunities to avoid hazardous conditions like wet floors.
Perform other duties as directed by leadership and be available to help coworkers when asked.
