Responsibilities include sorting, rinsing, stacking, loading the dish machine, and ensuring floors stay clean and dry. No prior restaurant experience is required; you must be 16 or older and able to follow safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 16 years of age.
• Must be able to follow verbal instructions in English.
• Must be able to read labels on chemicals and follow safety procedures.
• No previous restaurant experience required; willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glassware, and utensils and place them in racks for the dish machine.
• Sort and stack clean dishes and transport to proper storage areas.
• Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage or loss.
• Change dishwater in the dish machine when necessary.
• Remove trash and garbage to dumpster and maintain back dock cleanliness.
• Set up or break down the dishwashing area and assist with closing checklist.
