Job summary

The Glebe is seeking a Dishwasher to join our team in Daleville, VA. You will perform a variety of kitchen duties including washing dishes, pots and pans, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the kitchen.

Essential tasks include sanitizing dishes, emptying waste, and transporting food carts to satellite dining rooms while upholding safety standards. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Food handler certification is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Restaurant or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a food handler certification card.
• Must be able to stand continuously throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize all dishes, pots and pans and food preparation equipment.
• Empty kitchen waste.
• Maintain all equipment, walls, and floors in a clean and sanitary condition.
• Transport food carts to satellite dining rooms throughout the community.
• Ensure all dishes are clean, sanitized and dry before storing.
• Uphold the safety and sanitation requirements in accordance with Federal, State, and Local standards.
