Job summary

Thirteen Bar & Restaurant in Verona, WI is seeking a part-time Steward to support our busy kitchen. You will help maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of all dishes, utensils, and back‑of‑house areas, ensuring a steady flow of clean wares during high‑volume service.

Responsibilities include operating the dish machine safely, washing and sanitizing items, maintaining storage areas, and assisting the team during peak events. Weekend and night shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced kitchen environments.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Availability for nights, weekends, and peak-event shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate dish machine safely and efficiently according to sanitation standards.
• Wash and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans.
• Maintain clean and organized dish and storage areas.
• Remove trash and recycling regularly to maintain a safe work environment.
• Assist with light cleaning duties including floors, mats, drains, and surfaces.
• Support kitchen team during peak service with urgency and focus.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
