Job summary

Wet Willie's is hiring a Kitchen Support role focused on dishwashing and area cleanliness. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining the dish machine, washing and storing all dishes and utensils, and ensuring the dish area remains organized and sanitary.

The role requires the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and follow safety and sanitation guidelines. Flexible schedule and ability to work evenings or weekends preferred.

Qualifications

• Must communicate in English.
• Able to stand and move quickly for up to 8 hours.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds or more.
• Dexterity for using kitchen tools and equipment.
• Knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down dish machine, including arms, screens and baskets.
• Clean and polish machine daily, removing interior debris.
• Check dish machine for proper operation and report defects to Sous Chef.
• Wash and store dishes, utensils, pots, pans and glasses properly.
• Monitor water temperature during dish cycles for proper temps.
• Clean and organize dish area and detergent storage.
• Sanitize restrooms daily or as required.
• Break down cardboard boxes and recycle at shift start/end.
• Dispose of trash in bin at end of shift.
• Perform any other duties as requested by owner.
