Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living is hiring a Dishwasher to maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and dish area. You will support the food prep team, stock deliveries, and ensure safety standards are met while delivering warm hospitality to our residents.

The role requires flexibility to work full-time weekend and weekday shifts, with the opportunity for growth and benefits as part of a respected senior living community.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years of age
• Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude
• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
• Demonstrated ability to follow instruction for daily assignments
• Experience with cleaning standards in a commercial food operations
• Ability to work assigned shifts including early morning, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks in the kitchen, including operating the dish machine, cleaning equipment, sweeping and mopping floors, and maintaining appliances
• Ensure proper storage and handling of food and equipment to meet health and safety standards
• Assist cooks with non-food preparation tasks as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe kitchen and dish room environment
• Assist with stocking following food deliveries
• Make hospitality, customer service, and resident satisfaction your top priorities in every interaction
