Job summary

Nudy's Cafes, a multi-location family-owned breakfast and lunch spot, seeks a dedicated Dishwasher in Ardmore, PA to help maintain sanitation and prepare prepped items according to company recipes and health codes.

You will monitor supplies, unload deliveries, and support other kitchen staff. The role requires a capable multitasker with a solid understanding of food safety and a willingness to work in a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior kitchen or dishwashing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety guidelines required.
• Ability to stand for long hours.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the availability of clean dishes by bussing tables, washing dishes, pots, pans, and flatware, and resetting dining areas.
• Prepare dining areas and kitchen for next shift by cleaning and restocking dining areas and cook stations.
• Clean machines and appliances used in the kitchen, such as coffee makers, pots, and pans, mixers, etc.
• Unload and store deliveries.
• Sweep and mop floors, especially when items are spilled or broken.
• Take out the trash and rinse garbage cans.
• Support other restaurant staff by assisting with other tasks as needed.
• Report kitchen accidents or violations of food safety codes and procedures.
