Job summary

Covenant Living in Maryville, TN is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to operate the dishwashing machine and maintain orderly storage areas in our dining services department. The role supports nutrition services and kitchen teams in daily meal service and sanitation.

Responsibilities include stocking, transporting carts, delivering water pitchers, and ensuring all dishes, utensils, and equipment are clean and ready for service, following proper sanitation protocols.

Qualifications

• Previous relevant experience is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dishwashing machine and maintain cleanliness of the dish room and equipment.
• Deliver clean water pitchers to nursing stations and maintain neat stock areas.
• Transport carts to dining areas and deliver food requests to stations as needed.
• Keep kitchen areas and dining rooms free of dirty dishes and perform cleaning assignments.
• Monitor water temperatures and cleaning chemical usage; follow sanitation procedures.
