Job summary

Grouchy Grizzly is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to keep all dishes, glassware, and utensils clean and sanitized in a busy kitchen. You will operate commercial dishwashing equipment, maintain sanitary conditions, and support the overall flow of the kitchen.

Qualified applicants can stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Training on Toast, Hot Schedule, and Paylocity will be provided to help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Food safety knowledge and hygiene procedures.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent time management to handle multiple tasks.
• Team player with strong communication.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid Food Handlers Certification.
• Willingness to learn and be trained.

Responsibilities

• Operate dishwashing equipment and sanitize all wares.
• Sort and store clean dishes and maintain area cleanliness.
• Assist kitchen staff with basic prep tasks.
• Follow health and safety guidelines and proper chemical handling.
• Communicate with kitchen staff and report malfunctions.
• Be flexible to assist in other kitchen areas as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
