Job summary

The Junto Hotel is seeking a dedicated kitchen support member to maintain a clean, organized back-of-house area and assist with food preparation as needed. You will load and unload dishwashing machines, wash items by hand, and ensure an adequate supply of clean dishes during peak hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in dishwashing and kitchen sanitation preferred.
• Ability to maintain organized back-of-house areas.
• Willingness to assist with food preparation as needed.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload dishwashing machines
• Wash specific items by hand (e.g. wooden cutting boards, large pots and delicate China)
• Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment accordingly
• Ensure there are enough clean dishes, glasses, and utensils, especially during peak hours
• Check washing machines’ operation and promptly report any issues
