Job summary

The Kitchen American Bistro in Boulder is seeking a Dishwasher to maintain organization and cleanliness of the dish area and assist with other BOH tasks. This role supports the team and helps foster a welcoming, community-focused environment through service, food, and drink.

The ideal candidate is high-energy, eager to learn, and adaptable, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. This Full-Time position offers a strong team culture with opportunities for growth and benefits including PTO

Qualifications

• Motivated self-starter with excellent standards of cleanliness.
• Superior temperament and adaptable nature.
• Good communication skills and teamwork.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Willingness to learn and take on additional BOH duties.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for organization, cleanliness, sanitation & maintenance of dishes and glassware.
• Wash, sanitize, and organize small wares, dishes, glasses, silverware, and cooking supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness in kitchen, dish service area, and storage areas.
• Restock kitchen supplies; notify management when running low on inventory.
• Assist with cleaning and maintenance of restaurant and restrooms; sweep and clean floors.
• Sort and remove trash; clean garbage cans.
• Help unload deliveries and store supplies; restock as needed.
• Assist with opening/closing of the restaurant and with prep work.
• Perform objectives in a timely and efficient manner with a focus on quality.
• Communicate with Chef/Manager on Duty about kitchen-related issues.
• Model and promote teamwork.
