Job summary

The Kitchen Bistro in Austin is hiring a Dishwasher to keep the dish area organized and clean, support BOH duties, and help create an inviting, community-focused dining room.

You should be energetic, eager to learn, and able to work as part of a team; the role requires availability evenings, weekends and holidays, and you must be at least 18.

We offer a competitive hourly wage ($15.00–$19.00) and full-time benefits including PTO, health coverage, and employee programs.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Organize, clean, sanitize & maintain dishes, glassware and related equipment.
• Wash, sanitize and organize small wares, dishes, glasses, silverware, and cooking supplies.
• Maintain kitchen, dish area, and storage cleanliness.
• Restock kitchen supplies; notify management when running low.
• Assist with cleaning of restaurant and restrooms; sweep and clean floors.
• Sort and remove trash; clean garbage cans.
• Help unload deliveries and store supplies; restock throughout the restaurant.
• Assist with opening/closing; perform related work.
• Assist with prep work.
• Perform objectives in a timely and quality-focused manner.
• Communicate with Chef/Manager on duty about kitchen issues.
• Support the team and promote teamwork.
