Job summary

Renaissance St. Louis Airport in Missouri is seeking a full-time dishroom attendant to load, run and unload the dish machine, wash and store tableware, and keep the dish room clean and organized.

You will monitor water temperature for sanitary cycles, report issues promptly, and help maintain adequate stock of clean wares for dining and kitchen areas. Light food prep may be required, with adherence to health and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum lifting of 70 pounds.
• Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, and manual dexterity.
• Hearing.
• Minimum pulling of 70 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Load, run and unload dish machine.
• Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately.
• Monitor dish machine water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle
• Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware
• Keep dish room clean and organized
• Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room and kitchen
• Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss.
• Segregate and remove trash and garbage and place all in designated containers and haul to dumpster
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or by use of hand truck.
• Perform basic food prep as needed.
• Clean food preparation and production areas as required.
• Maintain health and sanitation standards.
