Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality's Hilton Birmingham at UAB is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to operate the dishwashing machine and keep the kitchen area clean and organized, supporting a fast-paced restaurant and banquet operation.

You will wash china, glassware, pots and pans, help unload shipments, and assist the team as needed. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for the shift; a robust wage package and benefits await.

Qualifications

• Able to carry and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to bend, twist, lift and stand for the shift worked.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for washing all china, glassware, silverware, pots, pans and other items used in the restaurant, kitchen and banquet department.
• Responsible for breakdown of all boxes, emptying trash containers into the dumpster and cleaning all containers.
• Clean walls in the kitchen as appropriate; especially in dish room area.
• Clean floor mats, sweeps and mop entire kitchen floor daily.
• Ensure the dish machine is operating effectively and reading at the appropriate temperature.
• Assist with unloading and organizing shipments.
• Perform all other duties as deemed necessary by management.
