Job summary

Villa Gardens Retirement Community is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to support dining services. Under supervision, you will wash and sanitize tableware, pots, pans and cooking equipment and maintain an orderly dish room to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

The role requires a Food Handlers’ certification and flexible availability in a hot, noisy kitchen environment. Compensation is set with a pay range per hour and the facility offers equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Food Handlers’ certification from local health department.

Responsibilities

• Wash and clean tableware, pots, pans and cooking equipment.
• Load, run and unload the dish machine.
• Keep the dish machine and dish room clean and organized.
• Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for dining and kitchen.
• Follow safety standards and report hazards to supervisor.
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure kitchen operations run smoothly.
