Job summary

White Lodging is seeking a Dishwasher at Marriott Indianapolis to help maintain clean, safe and efficient kitchen operations. You will support the culinary team by cleaning, organizing, and handling ware as part of a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates may have no prior experience but must be eager to work hard, stand for long periods, and collaborate with peers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service. Location emphasizes hotel operations and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop floors, wash work tables and clean refrigerators and other equipment using designated chemicals.
• Ensure floors and work surfaces stay free of trash and water to prevent accidents.
• Scrape food from dirty dishes and wash by hand or in the dishwasher.
• Sort silverware and properly load/unload the dishwasher.
• Sort and store clean china, glass, silver, and serving ware.
• Assist with unloading product from supply trucks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

As a Dishwasher, you will help ensure smooth kitchen operations by maintaining cleanliness, supporting the culinary team, and creating a safe and efficient work environment.

What You’ll Do

• Sweep, mop floors, wash worktables, and clean walls of refrigerators and other assigned equipment using designated chemicals.
• Ensure that the floor and work surfaces are kept free of trash, water, etc. to prevent potential accidents.
• Scrape food from dirty dishes, pots, and pans and wash by hand or in the dishwasher.
• Sort silverware before cleaning and properly load and unload the dishwasher.
• Sort and store all clean china, glass, silver, chafers, coffee pots, pitchers, display pieces, and platters using proper procedures.
• Assist with unloading product from supply trucks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
