Job summary

Hunter Super Techs - TurnPoint in Beckley, WV is seeking a Dishwasher to maintain cleanliness and sanitation of glassware, tableware, and cooking utensils. You will operate dishwashing equipment, stock areas, and ensure safe temperatures.

English proficiency and 6 months in a restaurant environment are preferred. The role is non-exempt with a pay rate of $14.00 per hour, offering full-time benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a 401k with company match.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in a restaurant environment
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proficient interpersonal relations and communication skills
• Verbal and written communication is essential; English language proficiency preferred
• Must be able to read labels and chemicals
• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of floors, surfaces, and equipment.
• Sort, rinse, and send dishes through the dish machine.
• Carry clean dishes to the cook’s line and storage areas.
• Trash removal from dumpster area as needed.
• Notify manager if dish machine temps fall below safe standards.
• Clean equipment using chemicals to meet sanitary standards; may involve heavy equipment and steam cleaning.
• Load/unload supplies between storage and work areas.
• Stock, date, rotate, and check food temperatures.
• Organize and place deliveries in assigned areas.
• Maintain and clean dish machine during the day.
• Perform other duties as directed
