Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a part-time kitchen aide to support dining operations with dishwashing and sanitation tasks. Starting wage is $15.00 per hour, based on experience.

This role focuses on cleaning, utensil prep, and maintaining a sanitary kitchen area. Ideal candidates are self-starters who can work in an interdisciplinary team, with the physical ability to sit, stand, bend, lift, and move frequently, lifting up to 30 lbs and pushing/pulling up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Dish and pot washing and general cleaning duties.
• Wash all utensils, chinaware, eating utensils, and glassware for dining prep.
• Clean and sanitize production equipment, work surfaces, and kitchen per cleaning schedules.
• Clean dish room, wash floor mats, drain and clean dishwasher, and shine stainless steel.
• Sweep and mop dish room, kitchen floors, storage areas and related spaces.
