Job summary

Ruby Tuesday in Concord, NC is seeking a friendly Dishwasher to maintain cleanliness of glassware, tableware, and kitchen utensils. You will set up, maintain, and break down the dish area following company procedures and safety standards.

Responsibilities include operating the dish machine, keeping areas tidy, stocking supplies, and assisting with basic food prep as needed. Candidates should be able to lift up to 70 lbs and stand throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or High School equivalency preferred.
• Able to lift and carry up to 70lbs, up to 20 times per shift.
• Ability to stand 100% of shift.
• Works frequently in damp, hot work environment.
• May use slicers or other kitchen machinery.
• Able to work flexible shift including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Loads, runs and unloads the dish machine following Ruby Tuesday procedures.
• Keeps the dish machine clean and reports any functional or mechanical problems immediately.
• Washes and stores all tableware and kitchenware; maintains adequate levels of clean tableware.
• Maintains dish area clean and organized.
• Bags and haul dish room trash to dumpster at designed times.
• Maintains adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies.
• Cleans and maintains floors per standards.
• Maintains restrooms clean and sanitary.
• Cleans, rolls, and unrolls kitchen mats.
• Cleans exterior areas around restaurant.
• Sets up, cleans, and organizes work area before/during/after shifts.
• Follows HOH Cleaning Program and AM Utility Programs.
• May assist in cleaning and preparing foods for cooking.
