Job summary

John Knox Village Limited is seeking a motivated Food Service Associate to assist with kitchen and dining area cleanup in a multi-outlet retirement community. You will maintain clean, sanitary workspaces under supervision and support the dining team during service hours.

Responsibilities include setting up dining areas, dishwashing, and delivering quality customer service to residents. The role requires lifting, irregular hours, and adherence to safety and training policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide quality customer service to residents and customers.
• Ability to work with a large group of residents and customers.
• Ability to work irregular hours.
• Ability to read and follow simple instructions.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, clears and cleans the assigned dining areas.
• Loads and unloads dishwasher; cleans pots and pans.
• Provides quality customer service and handles resident requests.
• Adheres to safety regulations and workplace conduct.
• Performs duties to maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen/work area.
