Job summary

Covenant Retirement Communities & Covenant Care is seeking a Dishwasher to operate the dishwashing machine and maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and dining areas. The role supports the nutrition services team by keeping dishes, utensils, and carts ready for service while ensuring proper sanitation throughout all workspaces.

Ideal candidates will have prior experience and can communicate effectively in English with residents, family members, and staff.

Qualifications

• Previous relevant experience, required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, oral and written, with residents, family members, and staff, required.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dishwashing machine.
• Deliver clean water pitchers to nursing stations.
• Maintain stock areas in a neat and orderly fashion on a daily basis.
• Transport carts to and from the appropriate dining areas.
• Clean and wash dishes, utensils, trays, pots, pans, etc., and stores them.
• Sweep and mop floors and work areas.
