This intermittent, part-time position requires the ability to lift up to 40 pounds, follow instructions, and obtain a Food Handler’s Certificate. Compensation is $17.37/hour with benefits and flexible hours as per MWR Kodiak policies.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and understand written material and follow instructions.
• Must be able to obtain a Food Handler’s Certificate and/or complete food handler’s training.
• Must be physically able to frequently lift objects weighing up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Sets up serving area with glasses, silverware, condiments, salads, and desserts.
• Prepares fruits and vegetables and operates basic kitchen tools.
• Loads, runs, and unloads the dishwasher and stores clean dishes.
• Cleans and maintains kitchen and dining area surfaces and equipment.
• Adheres to safety regulations and reports hazards to supervisor.
