Grand View Lodge in Nisswa, MN is hiring a Dishwasher/Kitchen Assistant to keep the heart of our kitchen sparkling. You’ll operate dishwashers, assist with basic prep, and support the culinary team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Rock the dish pit with commercial dishwashers to keep items sparkling.
• Help with hand-washing and basic prep tasks as needed.
• Empty trash bins regularly and maintain kitchen cleanliness.
• Wipe beverage stations daily and rotate dishware for longevity.
• Keep dish storage neat and organized.
• Follow food safety and sanitation rules at all times.
• Flag equipment issues and assist during rush periods.
• Assist with opening/closing duties and other tasks as needed.

What You’ll Be Up To:

• Rock the dish pit using commercial dishwashers to keep everything sparkling clean.
• Roll up your sleeves for a little hand-washing magic, some things just need that personal touch!
• Keep the kitchen fresh by emptying trash bins regularly (you’re basically a sanitation superhero).
• Give our beverage stations (coffee, tea, soda-you name it) a daily wipe-down so they’re always ready to pour.
• Rotate dishware and utensils like a pro to help them last longer and stay in top shape.
• Keep dish storage areas neat and organized, chaos isn’t your thing.
• Stick to food safety and sanitation rules because cleanliness is cool (and super important).
• Speak up if something’s not working, equipment issues or anything off should be flagged ASAP.
• Jump in to help the kitchen crew during the rush, prepping, cleaning, whatever needs doing.
• Pitch in with opening and closing duties. Teamwork makes the dream work.
• See a spill or broken glass? You're on it immediately for everyone’s safety.
• Take on extra tasks with a can‑do attitude. Every little bit helps!
