Job summary

Atria Senior Living is seeking a dedicated kitchen/dining team member to maintain a clean, orderly kitchen and dining area, wash and sanitize dishes, and support dining services. You will collaborate with culinary leadership to ensure residents enjoy high-quality meals and experiences in a supportive, team-focused setting.

The role emphasizes cleanliness, customer service, and adherence to food safety standards, with opportunities for advancement and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen and dining areas in a clean, orderly condition.
• Wash, clean, sanitize, and store all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and related equipment.
• Promote a restaurant-style dining atmosphere through high-level customer service.
• Coordinate with the Director of Culinary Services and/or Executive Director to keep residents satisfied with food and dining programs.
• Keep the kitchen clean, safe, and sanitary at all times.
• Wash and store all dishes and equipment per policy and procedures.
• Maintain the dish room area in a neat, clean, and sanitary condition.
• Keep kitchen floors clean (sweeping/mopping) and trash emptied.
• Assist with preparation and execution of Art of Atria Dining enhancement programs.
• Maintain the dish machine and ensure proper sanitizing temperatures and ppm levels.
• Adhere to cleaning schedules and assigned tasks.
• Assist with transportation and storage of food and supplies.
• Assist cooks and wait staff as requested.
• Adhere to Quality Enhancement standards and food safety practices.
• Assist with special events, banquets, and themed meals.
• Attend pre-meal stand-up in kitchen prior to service.
• May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.
