• Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen and work areas in sanitary condition.

Responsibilities

• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or uses dishwasher to ensure cleanliness.
• Washes pots, pans and trays and maintains sanitation.
• Polishes silver and ensures cleanliness per procedures.
• Maintains safety and chemical levels as outlined by standards.
• Keeps dish area orderly and meets safety standards.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to ensure sanitation.
• Removes trash and handles waste appropriately.
• Transfers supplies between storage and work areas.
• Helps load and unload supplies and products.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
