Job summary

Primanti Bros. Restaurant & Bar in Triadelphia, WV is seeking a dishwasher to keep our kitchen running smoothly by ensuring clean, sanitized utensils, glassware, and equipment.

You will set up the dish machine in the morning, close it at night, maintain cleanliness, assist with prep when needed, stock supplies, and follow sanitation procedures to protect guests and staff. Qualifications

• Stands 100% of the shift.
• Lifts and carries weights of up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent bending and stooping.
• Works indoors 75%, outdoors 25%.
• Works frequently in hot and damp environment.
• Frequently immerses hands in water with chemicals.
• Frequently works with sharp knives and utensils.
• Frequently works with hot plates.

Responsibilities

• Provides clean, sanitized utensils, plate ware, glassware, and equipment.
• Sets up dish machine in the morning and closes it at night according to procedures.
• Maintains daily cleanliness and maintenance of the dish machine; troubleshoots malfunctions.
• Washes plate ware, glassware, silverware, pots/pans, and kitchen utensils per sanitation rules.
• Gathers boxes and trash; cleans and reorganizes kitchen areas; sweeps and mops floors.
• Assists with prep duties when needed and cleans throughout the shift.
• Stocking shelves according to cooler diagrams and FIFO for vendor items.
• Keeps line and stations supplied with needed items; provides ice to bar/server stations.
• Completes opening, shift change, and closing checklists; performs weekly/monthly cleaning tasks.
• Performs other duties as requested by Coach.
