Job summary

Trinity Health's Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale is hiring for a full-time Kitchen/Dishwasher role on the day shift, starting at 7:00am. You will operate industrial washers, hand-wash pots, manage waste, and support patient meal service to uphold high hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency is required.
• Ability to speak, read and comprehend English is necessary.
• Ability to multi-task, and complete work without supervision in a timely manner
• Prior related food service or cleaning experience, working in a fast-paced environment highly preferred.
• Be customer and service-oriented, willing to assist others as needed.

Responsibilities

• Sanitization & Cleaning: Cleaning and sanitizing patient trays, eating utensils, glasses, and pots/pans using machines or manual washing.
• Dish Machine Maintenance: Operating, cleaning, and monitoring temperatures/chemical levels of industrial dishwashers.
• Kitchen Maintenance: Sweeping/mopping kitchen floors, cleaning worktables, walls, and taking out trash to maintain high hygiene standards.
• Support & Transport: Distributing clean items, transporting carts to patient floors, and assisting with tray line assembly.
• Waste Management: Proper disposal of trash and garbage in designated areas, including cleaning trash cans.

7:00am-3:30pm, five days per week, with rotating weekends.
