Job summary

Whiskey Cake Kitchen is seeking a dependable Dishwasher to keep the restaurant’s ware flowing smoothly and maintain a clean, efficient kitchen. You will set up and break down the dishwashing station, and ensure all dishes, pots, and pans are cleaned promptly.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and maintaining a current Food Handlers Certification. This position offers medical insurance eligibility for qualifying hourly workers and a 401(k) plan after one year,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Stand for long periods.
• Lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Maintain a current Food Handlers Certification and practice proper sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests and coworkers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Wash and sanitize all tableware, silverware, pots, and pans in a timely and orderly manner.
• Keep dishwashing area and equipment clean and dry, monitor temperatures and chemical levels.
• Properly store all clean chinaware, glassware, silverware, and small wares.
• Maintain clean and dry floors and walk-in, dry storage, and freezer areas.
