Job summary

A prominent casino resort in Arlington, WA is hiring for a kitchen role starting at $17.15/hr. Responsibilities

• Clean food from dirty dishes and wash them by hand.
• Wash pots, pans, trays and other equipment from the kitchen.
• Sweep and mop floors within the dish-pit area.
• Wash and sanitize work area, occasionally cleaning kitchen equipment.
• Remove all localized trash and cardboard from designated kitchen areas.
• Assist in the set-up and breakdown of Banquet Events.
• Use all dishwashing-related kitchen equipment following proper procedures.
• Must follow food safety, sanitation, and HACCP guidelines.
• Work nights, weekends and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Clean food from dirty dishes and wash them by hand, placing them in racks or within the dish machine.
• Wash pots, pans, trays and other equipment from the Kitchen.
• Sweep and mop floors within the dish-pit area and assist with all kitchen areas when asked.
• Wash and sanitize work area, occasionally cleaning kitchen equipment such as Hotboxes, Fridges, Mixers or workstations such as Food Trucks.
• Remove all localized trash and cardboard from designated kitchen areas and dispose of them throughout shift.
• Occasionally assist in the set-up and breakdown of Banquet Events.
• Use all dishwashing-related kitchen equipment following proper procedures and training.
• Must follow all food safety, sanitation, and HACCP guidelines.
• Work nights, weekends and holidays as required.

Certificates, Licenses, Regulations

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class B gaming license from the Stillaguamish Tribal Gaming Agency.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

This position requires the ability to receive detailed information through oral and written communication. The position requires exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. The position consists of repetitive movements daily with minimal sedentary work and occasional bending/crouching. This establishment operates 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.
