Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring a full-time Dishwasher at Ballad Health - Indian Path in Kingsport, TN. You’ll maintain dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen areas in a sanitary condition, with a schedule from 11:30 am to 8:00 pm, Wednesday through Saturday.

Prior food service experience is required; background and drug screening are part of the offer process. We offer growth opportunities and a culture focused on care, community, and excellence in every meal served.

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience required.

Responsibilities

• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine.
• Washes pots, pans and trays; ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Polishes silver using various equipment; ensures cleanliness.
• Maintains safety procedures and sanitation standards.
• Keeps dish area orderly and safe.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to maintain cleanliness.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators and prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and handles designated containers.
• Transfers supplies between storage and work areas.
• Helps load and unload supplies and products.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
