Job Summary

Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment, and utensils in sanitary condition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Scrapes, rinses, and washes dishes by hand or in dishwashing machines, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
2. Washes pots, pans, and trays following procedures.
3. Polishes silverware using appropriate equipment and methods.
4. Follows safety procedures and maintains proper temperatures and chemical levels.
5. Keeps dish area orderly and compliant with safety standards.
6. Sweeps and mops kitchen floors for safety and sanitation.
7. Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and food prep surfaces.
8. Removes trash, cleans garbage cans, and transfers supplies as needed.
9. Assists with loading/unloading supplies and performs other duties as assigned.
