Q Center is seeking a Full Time Dishwasher to join our team!

Job Summary

The Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and proper storage of all china, glass, and silver, and ensuring high sanitation standards. They assist kitchen staff in keeping the kitchen and storage areas clean, including cleaning equipment, utensils, and workspaces.

The schedule varies, including weekdays and weekends, with shifts typically from 6:00am - 2:30pm or 3:00pm - 11:30pm.

Starting pay is $17.00/hour.

Education & Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Food Handler certification or equivalent required.

Physical Requirements

• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.

• Follow procedures for cleaning and reassembling kitchen equipment.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of the buffet and banquet supplies as needed.
• Report maintenance issues.
• Change water in dishwashing machines.
• Wash, rinse, sanitize, sort, and store all kitchenware.
• Clean and organize designated areas.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment cleanliness.
• Maintain a "Clean As You Go" policy.
