Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or uses dishwashing equipment. Ensures cleanliness and sanitation.
• Washes pots, pans, and trays per procedures. Ensures cleanliness and sanitation.
• Polishes silver using appropriate equipment and methods. Ensures cleanliness and sanitation.
• Follows safety procedures.
• Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as standards specify.
• Keeps dish area orderly and safe.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and maintains cleanliness of garbage cans.
• Transfers supplies and equipment as needed.
• Helps load and unload supplies and products.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
