Job Summary

Summary: Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment, and utensils in an orderly and sanitary condition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Scrapes, rinses, and washes dishes by hand or using dishwashing machines, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
• Washes pots, pans, and trays according to procedures.
• Polishes silverware using appropriate equipment and techniques.
• Follows safety procedures and maintains proper temperatures and chemical levels.
• Keeps dish area orderly and complies with safety standards.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors, washes work surfaces, and maintains cleanliness.
• Removes trash, cleans garbage cans, and transfers supplies as needed.
• Assists with loading and unloading supplies and performs other duties as assigned.
