Job Details

• We are hiring immediately for full-time DISHWASHER positions.
• Location: Morrison Healthcare - 2500 Belle Chasse Highway, Terrytown, LA 70056. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time, 6:00 am - 7:00 pm, Monday - Friday, including rotating weekends. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Previous dishwashing experience preferred.
• Pay Rate: $14.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment, and utensils in orderly and sanitary condition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or in dishwashing machines.
2. Washes pots, pans, and trays following procedures to ensure cleanliness and sanitation.
3. Polishes silver using appropriate methods.
4. Ensures compliance with safety procedures.
5. Maintains proper temperatures and chemical levels.
6. Keeps dish area orderly and safe.
7. Sweeps and mops kitchen floors.
8. Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and food prep surfaces.
9. Removes trash and maintains waste containers.
10. Transfers supplies and helps load/unload supplies and products.
11. Performs other duties as assigned.
