Job Summary

Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment, and utensils in orderly and sanitary condition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or uses dishwashing machines, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
2. Washes pots, pans, and trays according to procedures, maintaining sanitation standards.
3. Polishes silverware using appropriate equipment and methods, ensuring cleanliness.
4. Follows safety procedures diligently.
5. Maintains proper temperatures and chemical levels.
6. Keeps dish area clean and safe.
7. Sweeps and mops kitchen floors for safety and sanitation.
8. Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and food prep surfaces.
9. Removes trash and cleans trash cans.
10. Transfers supplies and equipment as needed.
11. Assists with loading and unloading supplies and products.
12. Performs other duties as assigned.
