We are hiring immediately for a full-time DISHWASHER position.

Location: GISNY - 50 Partridge Road, White Plains, NY 10605. Note: online applications accepted only.

Job Summary

Summary: Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment, and utensils in orderly and sanitary condition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or in dishwashing machines, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
2. Washes pots, pans, and trays based on procedures.
3. Polishes silver using appropriate equipment, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
4. Ensures compliance with safety procedures.
5. Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as standards specify.
6. Keeps dish area orderly and safe.
7. Sweeps and mops kitchen floors.
8. Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and food prep surfaces.
9. Removes trash and cleans garbage cans.
10. Transfers supplies and equipment as needed.
11. Helps load and unload supplies and products.
12. Performs other duties as assigned.
