Job summary

Glenncrest at Siegen in Baton Rouge, LA, is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to join our senior living community kitchen. You will wash, store, and sanitize dishes and utensils, while helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment for residents and staff.

Responsibilities include operating and maintaining dishwashing equipment, stocking supplies, and assisting with after-meal plate collection as needed. Flexibility for weekend and holiday shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a caring heart, willing to serve others.
• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent.
• ServSafe Certification if applicable by state requirements.
• Must be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts including weekend and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Wash & store dishes, glasses, flatware, pots, pans and other cooking utensils; maintain sanitation and cleanliness.
• Properly maintain dishwashing equipment.
• Stock supplies as needed.
• Support staff with after meal plate collection if requested.
• Maintains or exceeds standards of a kitchen environment that promotes safety and cleanliness.
