Job summary

The Atriums in Overland Park, KS is seeking a dedicated dishroom/kitchen support team member for full-time hours. The role focuses on maintaining clean dishware, utensils, pots, and cooking tools and supporting kitchen staff.

You will follow safety and sanitation rules, lift up to 20–30 pounds, stand for long periods, and work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays. Experience in assisted living is preferred, and a high school diploma or GED is nice to have.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensures a proper supply of clean dishware, utensils, and glassware to stock the dining areas and set tables
• Ensures a proper supply of clean pots, pans, and cooking/serving utensils are available for kitchen staff
• Cleans work areas and all equipment used in food preparation
• Follows safety and sanitation rules and practices
• May help bus and set tables and perform other cleaning duties as required (cleaning kitchen and floors, removing trash, etc.)

• Knowledge of general sanitary and safety practices
• Safety and customer service oriented
• Reliable and dependable
• Able to follow spoken and written instructions
• Able to work without direct supervisionAble to bend, kneel, squat, and lift heavy objects as needed
• Able to regularly lift up to 20 pounds consistently, occasionally lift over 30 pounds, and to spend long periods of time on feet
• Able to work a flexible schedule, which may include working days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• At least one year of experience in an assisted living community preferred
