Job summary

The Atriums in Overland Park, KS is seeking a dedicated dishroom/kitchen support team member for full-time hours. The role focuses on maintaining clean dishware, utensils, pots, and cooking tools and supporting kitchen staff.

You will follow safety and sanitation rules, lift up to 20–30 pounds, stand for long periods, and work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays. Experience in assisted living is preferred, and a high school diploma or GED is nice to have.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of sanitary and safety practices.
• Safety- and customer-service oriented.
• Reliable and dependable.
• Able to follow spoken and written instructions.
• Able to bend, kneel, squat, and lift heavy objects as needed.
• Able to regularly lift up to 20 pounds, occasionally over 30 pounds, and stand for long periods.
• Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensures a proper supply of clean dishware, utensils, and glassware to stock dining areas and set tables.
• Ensures a proper supply of clean pots, pans, and cooking/serving utensils for kitchen staff.
• Cleans work areas and all equipment used in food preparation.
• Follows safety and sanitation rules and practices.
• May help bus and set tables and perform other cleaning duties as required.
