• Wash and sanitize dishes, trays, utensils, pots, pans, and equipment.
• Operate dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain clean, organized kitchen and dining areas.
• Assist with basic food preparation and serving as needed.
• Stock and organize food service supplies.
• Follow sanitation, safety, and workplace procedures.
• Support with cafeteria cleanup and other kitchen duties as necessary.

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity starting at $17.00 per hour, with the potential to transition into a full-time position based on performance, attendance, and business needs.The ideal candidate is reliable, flexible, and willing to help wherever needed while maintaining a clean, safe, and professional school environment.Key ResponsibilitiesWash and sanitize dishes, trays, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.Maintain clean and organized kitchen, dishwashing, and food service areas.Sweep, mop, remove trash, and assist with general kitchen cleanup.Stock and organize food service supplies.Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.Assist with basic food preparation, serving, cafeteria cleanup, and other kitchen duties as needed.Flex into other food service responsibilities as needed to support the team.Maintain professional and appropriate conduct around students, school staff, and coworkers.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsMust be able to successfully pass a background check appropriate for working in a school environment.Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.Must be available Monday–Friday from 10:00 AM–2:30 PM.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities.Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.Ability to follow sanitation, safety, and food-handling procedures.Previous dishwashing, cafeteria, restaurant, custodial, or food service experience is helpful but not required.What We Offer$17.00 per hourMonday–Friday schedule10:00 AM–2:30 PM daytime hoursTemp-to-hire opportunityPotential to transition into a full-time positionNo late-night shiftsConsistent weekday scheduleSchool-based work environment
