Dishwasher/Food Service Partner - PT - Green

Located on the Torrey Pines Mesa near I-5 and Genesee Avenue in La Jolla, Scripps Green Hospital has served the greater San Diego community since 1977. We provide some of the region’s best care, including several nationally ranked specialty programs.

Scripps Green Hospital is attached to Scripps Clinic Torrey Pines. Together we offer dozens of medical and surgical services, including cancer care, orthopedic surgery, and organ transplantation.

This is a part-time Dishwasher (Internal position title Food Service Partner) position working a varied shift (start time dependent on department needs) and schedule, including weekends. Must have morning and evening availability. Located at our Scripps Green campus in the Torrey Pines area.

Our Food Services team at Green hospital is dedicated to serving the community with high-quality patient care. Located in the beautiful Torrey Pines area, we are one of the busiest cafes, serving patients, staff, and families. The team rotates positions within the café, patient services, and catering areas.

The Food Service Partner supports food handling, meal assembly, customer service, and infection control. Follows policies to ensure compliance with TJC, Title XXII, and other regulations. Demonstrates age-specific care as established for the area and role.

Required Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
• SD County Food Handler Card; or Food Safety Certificate, or able to pass Food Handlers test.

Preferred Qualifications

• Food Service experience.
• Experience in a healthcare setting.

Position pay range: $24.00-$28.28/hour.
