Description

1. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
   • Prepare hot and cold foods for retail sales, including slicing fruits, vegetables, desserts, and meats.
   • Set up the cafeteria for service, including stocking food and paper products.
   • Monitor food temperatures throughout the shift, document readings, and notify supervisors of any issues.
   • Maintain cleanliness and order in refrigeration units, following food safety regulations.
   • Replenish food and supplies, inspect items for quality, and rotate stock.
   • Properly package, label, and date food items.
   • Prepare beverages such as coffee, juice, and smoothies, and maintain related equipment.
   • Keep work areas, serving areas, and equipment clean and sanitized.
   • Transport food carts, racks, and dish bins as needed.
   • Assist in cooking at grills, fryers, or sandwich stations if required.
   • Deep clean refrigerators, countertops, and seating areas regularly.
   • Maintain signage and use standardized recipes for food preparation.
   • Assist in other areas as needed.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic calculations.
• Experience in food service or restaurant operations preferred.
• Proof of Mandatory Reporter abuse training within three months of hire.
